In every neighborhood there's always that one family that celebrates the holidays with a contagious passion that invites all the rest of us to get off our buns 'n decorate! One Halloween, our friend's Mom and Dad turned their garage into a haunted house! They had a bowl of cooked spaghetti for worms, the cobwebs draped just right to irritate you as you walked by, peeled grapes for eyeballs; how do you peel a grape?! I don't know how much time it took to prepare for this festive occasion, but I do remember the fun we had being scared out of our wits by by ghosts and ghouls hiding in the corners and behind props.
For those of you that are as ambitious as our friend's parents, thank you for all your efforts and time that make the holidays special!
