Snow

I know, some of you absolutely hate it and the cold. Not me. I love it. Unlike rain it falls silently, blanketing the ground with pure white. Each flake is different the other. You can put that to the test. Get a piece of dark fabric and let the flakes fall on it. They are beautiful. There's nothing like a hurry up, get dressed and run out the door to play in the snow day. People aren't the only ones who like to play, watch the animals. They have a blast just as much as we do. I remember as a child, my older sister made a table and benches where we had a "tea party" made from homemade snow cream. Our was snow and maple syrup. At the time I thought it was the tastiest thing ever. If you're not one to go out and play or run to the store for milk and bread (I dont know why) you can just sit and watch and afterward, hear the quiet. Noises are muffled and it's time to ponder and reflect with no distractions. That is until the first one up yells, "No school, it's snowing!" And then the fun begins. Have plenty of hot chocolate and marshmallows ready for the frozen snow bunnies that will shortly come back through the door.
