I love Christmas time goodies. They are usuals but only at this holiday. Thats what makes them special and anticipated. This past weekend we spent some time decorating sugar cookies. They are so beautiful and my family had never done them before. Bonnie and I did them for all the special occasions when we owned the donut shop all those years. They are more time consuming but you can get so artistic and make them one of a kind. Pretty soon I will be getting all of my baking stuff off from the shelves and all the containers, tissue paper and tags I can find to start my Christmas goodies. The joy comes when you see the smiles as they get your container and the satisfaction when you hear mmm. So happy baking. Get started and find the joy in giving from your heart and your kitchen.
