Did you know that hummingbirds can't see through the screen of a screened in porch? I have a hummingbird feeder right outside my porch and love watching these little cuties everyday. By doing this I made a fun discovery last year!!! I found that if I stood really still and put my finger right by the feeder they would land and continue eating. They are so light and I could barely feel their little claws. We have since moved things around a bit, but the feeder is up and I still get to enjoy my little visitors. They are a little stand offish for now because of the change, but I'm happy to watch them from afar while they get comfy with their new set up.
