I felt great this past week. Not that I had to put up the Christmas decorations but that I did it early, organized neatly and put away in the shed. And I didn't forget anything. I saw the weather and knew we were in for flooding rains for several days, so that meant wait til they stopped and wait for the ground to dry up enough to haul my totes or get moving, get it done, and over with. I have to tell you, I hated make the latter decision. I love Christmas decorations. When they are put away the house seems bare, colorless. Who would have thought adding green and red would spruce (excuse the pun) the place up. Of course there are bunches of other colors. Anyway yes, I made the right choice. Life is full of them. It's not always as easy as the one I'm mentioning here or as trivial, but looking ahead and seeing the consequences of our actions, makes for better decision making. Whether its making choices for marriage, career, or even peer pressure, prepare yourself through careful study, knowledge, and my personal favorite, prayer. I go to the source that knows the most. Well, the weather channel was helpful this time. Prepare every needful thing. It really is great advice.
