We have referred to our Lord by so many names including Jesus Christ and Jehovah and more beside the names mentioned above. Each has it's own meaning and significance that will bring us in a closer relationship with Him. With all the holiday parties and shopping, take time to get to know Him. We celebrate His birth like no other. My celebration starts usually, the day after Thanksgiving and ends New Years Day. Inspired music and movies and T.V. shows leave us in tears. Those moments we realize are goodness and miraculous life changing messages of hope and love for mankind. His love and tender mercies are felt even more when we extend those feelings towards others. His love surpasses all. Shouldn't our love toward mankind be just as heartfelt? More than that, let's make it last all year. My decorations will not stay up all year, no. But my celebration of life will, as I reach out to others. After all our Saviors birth was just the beginning. His life, teachings, parables, miracles, healings, death and resurrection are all worth celebrating, all year long.
