Many years ago I was a custom printer for a studio in North Carolina. I loved being a custom printer, but that job isn't REALLY necessary anymore. With all the visual effects and angles and color tools available on your computer to achieve the same effect, that job is no longer needed. However there's one thing a computer can't quite get on it's own. The story. With the single click of the shutter the story unfolds right before your eyes, voila! The photographer is the story teller. He or she may wait hours and shoot dozens of pictures to get just the right picture, at just the right time with just the right lighting. The next time you look at a magazine or scroll through Facebook, really take a look at the pictures. I wonder...how many clicks did it take? CLICK CLICK CLICK
