Dragonflies are beautiful creatures. There are so many varieties to behold. Their delicate wings look like a couple of pieces of lace stretched to capacity, revealing opalescent colors and patterns. And because their wings don't flap very often, you can actually see all the intricate details. If their beauty isn't enough, maybe a little too delicate for you? Then get this, they eat bugs! Bunches of 'em, yahoo! It's like straight out of a horror movie, they grab their prey and chomp on down. We're talking once they hatch until they die, they don't stop. And right now there are swarms of them. Sometimes they fly up to my window, and I just tell them what a wonderful job they're doing. And thank them for getting rid of those "nassy" bugs. Yes indeed, they are my friends. You know, the Lord created even the flies and mosquitoes to pester and torment fallen man, and also in his wisdom and mercy He created the cure. Even if it's only for a little while the beautiful dragonfly, I think I'll keep 'em.
