All of us are given choices to make. I'm grateful and feel blessed to live in a country with the opportunity to express my thoughts, ambitions, desires, etc. It's not easy to watch others, especially loved ones make mistakes and choices, that you know will end in problems and have negative consequences. Their decisions not only affect them, but their choices affect those they love and care for. you can talk to them until you're blue in the face, but it won't do a thing until it hits home. Sometimes that means harsh lessons to be learned. It could be financial hardship, accident, loss of friendship or worse, love loss. It's not easy watching a person's life spiraling downward and they can't seem to put the brakes on. This is where it's up to you and me to help. Even though we can't make their decisions for them, our faith in our Savior and prayers on their behalf, will give us the strength courage and guidance to be the hope our loved ones need. We don't always like the things our friends and loved ones do, but as our Savior teaches us, love everyone unconditionally. Be there for them no matter what. Step by step, prayer after prayer, they can accept our help or not. The Lord never gives up, neither can I.
