The Master's Hand

I've always enjoyed the seasons of the year. And as I've stated in another post, my favorite is the Fall because He paints the canvas of life so well at that time of the year. What about our canvas? Do we follow the Master as close as possible? Or do we vary with different colors, brush strokes or even tools? As you can imagine, our masterpiece isn't quite as masterful. On our own we don't do so well, in fact our canvas may not even resemble that of the Master's at all. It may be so abstract that there's hardly anything recognizable. Being the Master with a plan and a willing student, He begins once again with care and a guiding hand, brushstroke after brushstroke and colors to match. My canvas begins once again to come to view. In the end when all is done, I can present my canvas and hope it resembles in some way that I have done my best. And that He, the Master, is pleased.
