This One's For You

I was a single parent of a dear little girl. She had plenty of personality. She was sweet. Mostly quiet. Gave great hugs. She would always leave an impression on me, nearly every morning. That's an imprint of her hand with whatever she was eating for breakfast. One morning I got a call at work to meet with the director of the day care. What did she do? What could she possibly have done, she was only 3?! It was like getting a call to the principle's office only this was at a church! Finally, the afternoon came and off to meet with the director. She was so sweet. She complimented my daughter and said how everybody loved her. "However", here it comes! "She's been saying a few things that concern us." She had a twinkle in her eye that kind of threw me. We didn't watch TV and she didn't hear anything from me, so I was thinking... She said, "Take a hike" while pointing her thumb outward and "Read my lips" pointing to them. I didn't have to think, I knew exactly where they came from. My little girl adored and still does her Uncle Buzz. Dearest brother, may the blur bird of paradise poop on your head, just once!
