I think everybody, people older than dirt that is, are shocked at how old their kids are. Well, that can't be! Cause you were there, however many years ago, add that to your age when they were born and voila! That's right, it all adds up! Wow, older than dirt. Helped plant the garden with Adam, a blue hair, etc. Yep, time has gotten away and now it's here. Even if you don't want to do the math, your body is saying it in other ways. A new pain, the floor getting farther away from view, the trombone effect when you pick up the mail or newspaper to read, crazy skin, loss of hearing, eyesight and hair. Even your conversation has changed, my gosh. Do you know how much free advertising doctors and clinics and pharmacies get each day?! They say you're only as old as you feel, shut up, that is not right. I have every intention and initiative to keep moving, but it seems I have chains called getting older that keep me grounded a bit. But with every age, you have to grow into it. Be a little more careful, watchful and whatever gems of wisdom I have uncovered over the years, I will gladly share. But I don't do the "blue hair", I leave that to the youngin's.
